FIRE WATER SHEIKH, PERFECT ENERGY DRINK,RAMADHAN 2019 TARWEEH, TARAWIH, QURAN AND SUNNAH FOODS

as salaam alaikum wa rahmatulaah wa barakatuhum brothers and sisters.

QURANIC FOODS , foods  that Allah has mentioned by name in the Quran the Holy Book of the Muslims, are sacred, they are special … we have made them mundane and we wrong ourselves.

This is a recipe for an energy drink , that will in sha allah, get us through taraweeh, night after night  and boost our immune systems as well in shaa allah. I would love your feed back please.

In shaa allah  we are facing a tough month ahead, Ramadhan will start in shaa Allah tomorrow night with taraweeh and fasting starts the  the following in shaa allah.

The days are long and the nights are short and the days will get longer as the month progresses in shaa allah, however we have been through harder times, like last year and the year before, so by the grace of allah we will be successful.

RAMADHAN is not just about fasting our stomach, it is also about fasting from idle talk, profanity, back biting, lying, joking that hurts others feelings.

its also about fasting from looking at the opposite sex in a lustful way.

I am not a scholar so lets get on to my amazing drink that will in shaa allah keep you revitalised and energized to make it through the night in a way that compliments the human body.

This drink consists of 4 ingredients , 3 are mentioned by name in the Quran , the same 3 are foods of paradise and 1 is mentioned in the sunnah, so lets go.

RECIPE

1 x  unwaxed lemon (sunnah food), use the whole lemon, its a true wholefood, complimentary temperament of seeds, pith, peel and flesh according to As Suyuti (ra)

1 x 5cm piece of fresh raw ginger (quranic food)

10-15ml of raw honey, local is best (quranic food)

1 litre of clean water (quranic food)

METHOD

Wash the ginger and cut off any dry or mouldy bits

Wash the lemon and chop into chunks or segments, use all of lemon.

Measure the water into the blender

Add the lemon, ginger and honey

Blend all ingredients till finely blended  and taste.

If the drink is too bitty for you, add more water and honey.

Keep in the fridge till you need it .

Drink after iftar and take to masjid with you.

SIDE EFFECTS.

Ginger – Some people can have mild side effects including heartburn, diarrhea, and general stomach discomfort. Some women have reported extra menstrual bleeding while taking ginger.

Lemon -When it comes to heartburn, lemon water can go either way. The citric acid may cause heartburn in some people. Others experience relief from heartburn, as lemon juice becomes alkaline, reducing acidity in digestion.

Honey – side effects of honey are rare, except maybe when eating in excessive quantities like Winnie the Pooh bear.

Honey can cause a rare but serious gastrointestinal condition (infant botulism) caused by exposure to Clostridium botulinum spores.

Safety and side effects
  • Wheezing and other asthmatic symptoms.
  • Dizziness.
  • Nausea.
  • Vomiting.
  • Weakness.
  • Excessive perspiration.
  • Fainting.
  • Irregular heart rhythms (arrhythmias
