Ramadhan Get Ready Iftar Smoothies

BANANA PEACH ORANGE SMOOTHIE

as salam alaikum, I saw a recipe and decided to make it more Islamic!
How can you make a recipe more Islamic?
According to classical hadith scholar and Doctor of the Hearts, Al Qayyim Ibn Jawziyyah(ra), diary and citrus are toxic, something western doctors would be well advised to remember.

As fruits will start to get cheaper in shaa Allah, please have your jug blender ready for smoothies.

This is my version of Jessica Gavin’s recipe that needed tweaking, her foto was so great I have used that to save time, thank you Jessica.

BANANA PEACH AND ORANGE SMOOTHIE

INGREDIENTS
2 yellow peaches, medium-sized, pitted and quartered
1 orange, peeled
1 banana
2-3 cups of water, more water less bitty

OPTIONAL
1/4 to 1 tablespoon minced ginger
Orange zest, from one orange
1 tablespoon ground flaxseed soaked in water over night or at least a few hours
1/2 cup milk not diary, according to Islamic medicine, dairy and citrus (oranges, lemons, limes) is toxic so use a banana or unsweetened, cashew, almond or soymilk
