Most nutritional business wants you to buy their products rather than their information, which is often lacking because the people selling to you are not qualified nutritionist.

A qualified nutritionist will teach you, show you and give you information, when applied, will empower you to make conscious choices when she is not around.

 The dairy industry, especially in the USA, needs to find an outlet for dairy produce, as people are moving away from drinking milk to healthy alternatives like nut milks, they need to find somewhere to channel diary as it’s an invested commodity stock.

Too many of these  so called health weight loss or training drink contain powdered whey protein, this is just another processed form of milk. Not good for you in the long run. Or worst than that, some protein shakes actually contain some sort of dried beef meat.

According to the Mayo clinic “ Whey protein may cause abnormal heart rhythms, changes in cholesterol levels, headache, increased diabetes risk, increased fracture or osteoporosis risk, kidney dysfunction, liver damage, stomach or intestine symptoms (acid reflux, bloating, constipation, cramps, gas, increased bowel movements, movement problems, nausea, reduced appetite, swelling of limbs, and upset stomach), and thirst. Whey protein may lower blood sugar levels. Caution is advised in people with diabetes or low blood sugar, and in those taking drugs, herbs, or supplements that affect blood sugar. Blood sugar levels may need to be monitored by a qualified healthcare professional, including a pharmacist, and medication adjustments may be necessary.

Whey protein may increase the risk of bleeding. Caution is advised in people with bleeding disorders or in those taking drugs that may increase the risk of bleeding. Dosing adjustments may be necessary.

Whey protein may interfere with the way the body processes certain drugs using the liver’s “cytochrome P450” enzyme system.

Whey protein may cause low blood pressure. Caution is advised in people with low blood pressure or in those taking drugs or herbs and supplements that lower blood pressure.

If you want quick unhealthy results, this powders that you mix with water twice a day are the answer.
