Spirulina in Yoghurt

I decided to make a small #change a #tweak to the #morningroutine . #fruits and #vegetables are ideally eaten in their #natural state not #blended or #juiced .

#juicing is the worst way of having fresh fruit because it removes the essential #fibre that actually helps slow down the absorption of #sugar , we have to clarify that #fruitsugar and #processed #whitesugar are completely different . Fibre is great for #digestion keeping the #arteries clear of #plaque .

#smoothies are much better because they retain the fibre but not as much as when you eat the fruit whole.

It’s a dilemma for a #nutritionist because how do you add the #superfood #powders like #macca #spirulina ? They can be mixed into #yoghurt, whether is #vegetarian or #vegan . The #protein in the yoghurt helps#balance the natural #sugarhigh from the fruit and gives more sustained energy 🐝🐝🐝
