Chard parsley pineapple mango smoothie
Winter Breakfast Boost…I just love this…….it’s so fresh and yummy and green is the Prophet Muhammad (salah la alaihi wa salem, may the peace and blessing of Allah be upon him) favorite colour!!!
Ingredients
2 Chard leaves
Handful of fresh parsley
2 mangos that were lying around and needed to be used up
1/2 small pineapple
And 350-500 ml water of course to blend it
Makes 2 large glasses.

Nutritional value
Chard-high in vitamins K, A, C, regulates blood sugars, anti-oxidant, anti-inflammatory, good for bones and immune system, anti- aging
Parsley -high in vitamins K and C, anti-oxidant, boost immune system, good for heart and people prone to stroke.
Pineapple-seriously high in Vitamin C so once again great for immune system, it contains bromelin which is a great anti-inflammatory for people with arthritis.
Mango -contain high vitamin B6 and C, good for nerves, protects against cancer, lowers cholesterol, and boosts immune system.
