GREEN JUICES….why are they so good?

Green juices are for the adulthood of people who are concerned about their health.

They are not sweet and childlike but they are for the mature minded person who cares about their mind , body and soul .

You only need a juicer, whatever your price range, even a cheap one will do!

GREEN JUICE

Ingredients

2 bunches of spinach

3-5 kiwi fruits

1-2 cucumbers

1 table spoon of chia seed, presoaked over night in 100 ml water

 

Method

Wash and drain veggie and fruits, cut cucumbers and kiwis in half, cut cucumbers again, kiwis can be juiced with skin on

Push all veggies and fruits through the  juicer; add chia seed with water they were in,  they should now look like little tadpoles and if you don’t know what tadpoles look like you really need to get out more. stir or sake the juices and chia seed water togther.

ANTI OXIDANT

Full of a magical property from the Creator, called anti-oxidants. As something comes into contact with oxygen its ages or becomes rusty so these natural chemicals in fruits and vegetables slow down this process, they’re natural pure sugars not processed chemical sugars.

ANTI INFLAMMATORY- HEART, SKIN, BONES, ETC

Spinach is full of anti-inflammatory natural chemicals called neoxanthin and violaxanthin; these are present in high quantities in spinach. These chemicals regulate inflammation in the body, so spinach is great for people with arthritis, eczema, asthma, psoriasis, heart disease, cancer, it is said that inflammation, an access of acid and heat in the body is at the roots of all illnesses.

SKIN

Spinach is good for your skin, anti-aging, fights acne, psoriasis as it’s got high natural quantities of vitamin A.

Spinach is great for your immune system, 1 cup of spinach provides over 300% of the recommended daily doses of vitamin A that protects and strengthens “entry points” of viruses into the body; the skin, mucous membranes like the mouth, nose and eyes.

PREVENTS CALCIFICATION

Spinach is high in natural vitamin K, which is good for so many things .vitamin K contributes to a process called carboxylation, which directly prevents calcium occurring in tissue where it’s not needed. One cup of spinach a day will help this process that fights atherosclerosis, cardiovascular diseases, kidney stones and   strokes.

KIWI FRUITS

BOOST THE IMMUNE SYSTEM

It is important to note that kiwi fruits contain a remarkable amount of Vitamin C, E and A. Vitamin C is a water-soluble antioxidant that has been proven to protect our body from free radicals, dramatically improving the health of individuals who consumed it regularly against all kinds of disease, from cardiovascular problems to cancer and obesity.

ANTI OXIDANT AND ANTI AGING

Vitamin E has been proven to have similar effects, but is fat-soluble and thus is complimentary to Vitamin C in its functions. Kiwi fruits contain both these vitamins in high amount, which help protect our body against free radicals from all fronts.

ANTI ALLERGIES

They are good for respiration and inflammation of the mucous membranes, so great for fighting allergies and asthma.

They are high in fibre so good for cardiovascular; heart, controls sugar levels, good for gut and colon cancer

 

CUCUMBER

CUCUMBER (QITHTHA) is a food of the Noble Quran, the holy book of the Muslims and the Sunnah, written evidences by witness of the prophet Muhammad’s life, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him.

From the Sunnah, narrated by Abd’ Allah bin Jaffar, it is related that the messenger of Allah salah ala alaihi wa salem used tom eat cucumber (qiththa) with dates (rutab) Tirmidhi At’ima – 37

DIURECTIC/GOOD FOR BLADDER

Cucumber is cold and dry in the second degree and cools heat in the stomach and is useful in bladder conditions where there is pain and inflammation. Its seeds are diuretic (makes you wee a lot,) great for water retention.

ANIMAL BITES

Its leaves, made into a poultice are beneficial for dog bites

MASTITIS, SWOLLEN BREAST FROM BREAST FEEDING BABIES.

Leaves also good to cool swollen breast when breast feeding babies.

HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE

It’s also good for cooling high blood pressure

It’s cold in its descent in the stomach and its coolness can be harmful to a part of the stomach which is why it’s best to eat it with something warming like dates if you have no inflammation in your stomach. So it’s good alone for inflamed stomach but is there is no inflammation eat with something warming like date or raisins

SKIN

It’s good for the complexion, skin, bones and muscles as it contains silica

CHIA SEEDS

Amazingly high in Omega 3 oils , good for giving you energy.
