ATTENTION…..be careful who you follow..I just found this terrible advice for Ramadan nutrition on Emily Fleischaker , Food Editor of Buzz Feed. Suddenly everyone’s an expert on Ramadhan Nutrition…I know they are not!

@Emily Fleischaker is BuzzFeed’s Food Editor.If she knew anything about food, she would know that this sort of grain salad would go off after 3 days even if kept in fridge, so you cannot make a big batch of this, do not take Ramadan nutrition advice from non Muslims, especially with names like Fleischaker… text at top of foto not mine, its in accurate and ignorant

More useless advice for Ramadhan nutrition from Emily Fleischaker Food editor Buzz Feed.
A smoothie that contains no protein will not provide enough energy to get you through 18 hours of fasting. As I said before adding chia seeds that have not been soaked over night will make you more thirsty.

MY ADVICE…..soak a handful of nuts and seeds the day before and add to smoothie fruits at suhour, inshaa’allah i’ll put some recipe soon.
