There is no excuse for the majority of muslims to be overweight when there is ample evidence in the Quran and Sunnah warning of this unislamic habit.

I know there are a few people whose medication make them put weight.

Most of us do not have slow metabolsim, we are just overweight.

In Muslim and Bukhari: “The believer eats with one stomach while the kafir eats with seven stomachs.” Meaning: The believer eats with the manners of Islam and in moderation, while the karif eats based on desires and gluttony and so he eats with seven stomachs.
From Abi Barza that the Prophet (sas) said: “My greatest fear for you is the appetites of transgression with regard to your stomachs and your privates and the inclinations which lead astray”. (Ahmad and others and its narrators are people of sahih).

It’s is not necessary to eat loads of starchy carbohydrates so here’s is a fantastic recipe for fish with french beans, its actually the best marinade I have tasted for a long while.

Take washed fish filets, and drained, wash tarragon herb drain, dry, chop small, add to bowl with juice of lemons, zest of lemon, honey, garlic , pomegranate seeds/fruit, black pepper and a little salt, place fish in and leave for at least 30 minutes or covered in fridge over night, take a griddle and turn up high for 5 minutes, then low, then lightly sprinkle with oil, 1 teaspoon and use pastry brush and brush it across griddle quick , place fish skin side down and cook on low heat for 5-10 minutes to get skin crispy, turn over and cook 5 minutes, take out and plate, left over marinade , tip onto griddle turn up high for 1 minutes then pour over fish, serve with either salad or green beans or spinach , make dressing of olive oil and lemon, ENJOY!!!!
