Re-hydration and nutrition are very important while fasting these long days  with extreme heat, plenty of water juices and fresh fruit and vegetables are essential when we break fast to avoid many illness, later down the line. Remember we are in this for the long haul , the marathon not the sprint or relay! Nutrition is a major part of nay olympic athlete’s training program , so why should we think any less of ourselves?

Carrots are available in the urban world all year round but are really in season in summer and autumn.

Just wash carrots and peel using potato peeler, you can use a regular juicer or if you using a jug blender,chop carrots coarsely, use lots of filtered or bottled water and blitz, leave to stand for at least 30 minutes then seive through muslin cloth.
They are mentioned by As-Suyuti in Medicine Of The Prophet, salah la laihi wa salem, in Arabic carrots known as ” jazr”.
In Islamic medicine they are known to increase a man’s sexual desire and production of semen, so all you single brother avoid this food for now and avoid those sweets you like.
They contain natural sugar, fructose and glucose but are low in their carbohydrate content and high in fibre which is why they are so health for us.
