As salam alaikum, I have a few health issues like some of the health and well being stars I admire; Queen Efua and Louise Hay.
Louise Hay had active cancer and by the grace of Allah, positive thinking and changing her diet, etc she was heal. Louise Hay has gone on to inspire thousands if not millions with her positive attitude to disease and how some of it is caused by our mental attitude. I wouldn’t say all of it because the food we put in our bodies has a role to play in creating a nourishing environment or poisonous environment.
Similarly Queen Efua was very sick and used her illness as an opportunity to educate herself and inspire others including me. She has focused a lot on the health of the womb and as we know in Islam, the womb will bear witness on us on The Final Day.
So now it’s my turn, you know what I have been doing over the last few years but enough is enough and my health is not getting any better so I need to turn my attention to me, myself and I and others like me who suffer from similar dis-eases.
When I’m done doing me then in shaa Allah I’ll help the others.
I’m in pain as I write this, I have more wrong with me than psoriasis and fibromyalgia, I also have cervical and thoracic spondilitis but enough of that for now.
Psoriasis is a non-contagious auto-immune itchy skin condition. It’s an inflammatory condition where the production of skin cells is exacerbated by the scratching and flaking off of the dry skin. Some say it is hereditary but others say the dormant genes are activated by the family lifestyle.
I know from a young age I was forced to eat hot spicy food which I know now is not good for my hot/dry temperament.
Fibromyalgia is another auto- immune disease .Fibromyalgia is a disorder characterized by widespread musculoskeletal pain accompanied by chronic fatigue, sleep, memory and mood issues. There are 11 pairs of painful pressure points which will will go into soon in shaa Allah. Researchers believe that fibromyalgia amplifies painful sensations, temperature changes and noise sensitivity by affecting the way your brain processes pain signals. I can testify that this is true from personal experience.
This is the starting point, so onwards and up wards in shaa Allah
