A man came to the prophet salah al alaihi wa salem and said ” my brother is suffering in his belly” another narration said “his belly is loose”.
The prophet told him “give him honey to dr
ink”. the man went away and retuned ad said
” I have dosed him but it has done him no good” another narration said” it has only increased his diarrhea”.
This took place two or three times, and each time the prophet said
” give him honey.”
on the third or fourth occasion he said
“god has spoken , but your brothers belly has lied”. in
shih of Muslim we read: your brothers belly is a disordered state(‘ariba)meaning his digestion was corrupt and his stomach was weak.
