as salam alaikum, and now for something completely different.

If you are stepping out into the hustle and bustle of  Convent Garden or China Town,to see a theatre show , film or shop, you may want to shimmy your way down to B Bakery or Bridget’s Bakery to be more precise.I was with a friend and we came across this patisserie by the Qadr of Allah.

It’s a French-style salon cafe, with airy fairy , feminine decor, very cute, clever and girlie.The cakes, patisserie and savoury bites are made in house.

But do they have anything gluten free ? They had multi colored macaroons and this chocolate dense praline bar that even had gold leaf hazel nuts…now that is extra.

It was so creamy, chocolaty and heavy that i could only eat a quarter and the waiter kindly gave me a bag to take the rest home.

A pot of tea  and beautiful cakes cost about £10.

Wow! They even do Halal Afternoon Tea, so I think we will be going back again in shaa Allah.
